Initiation e-learning: Personal Data Compliance in Côte d’Ivoire

IVORIAN STARTUPS, LEARN HOW TO COMPLY WITH THE IVORIAN PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION LAW!

Does your company process personal data in Côte d’Ivoire? Law n°2013-450 requires you to declare your personal data processing to the Autorité de Régulation des Télécommunications de Côte d’Ivoire (ARTCI). In practice, you’ll need to fill in an online form, but this is often a complicatedexercise for entrepreneurs… Our introductory training course explains, in a practical workshop, how to complete your data processing declaration.

🎯 Is this e-learning course on data protection right for you?

Would you like to understand how personal data is processed in Côte d’Ivoire?

You would like to :

✅ What does personal data processing involve in Côte d’Ivoire?
✅ What are your obligations when processing personal data in Côte d’Ivoire?
✅ find out how to make your website compliant.

→ Then this e-learning course is for you.

In particular, you’ll learn about the various steps involved in making a prior declaration of personal data processing to ARTCI, the Ivorian regulator.

How do you make your declarations to ARTCI?

You must declare your personal data processing operations to ARTCI before implementing them. Why make this declaration to ARTCI in Côte d’ Ivoire? In order to be able to justify the purpose of the processing, the personal data collected and processed, the categories of data subjects and, where applicable, identify data transfers outside Côte d’Ivoire.

In practice, you will perform, as appropriate :

  • a request for authorization from ARTCI, if the processing involves sensitive data;
  • or a prior declaration in other cases.

What is sensitive data? This includes information on racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious beliefs, trade union membership, genetic data or data relating to health.
